Iron helps with anemia.

Calcium helps reduce the risk of preeclampsia.

Folate and folic acid are both forms of vitamin B9. Compared to folic acid, folate is more easily absorbed by the body. This is especially important during pregnancy as a percentage of women cannot absorb folic acid.

These omega-3 fatty acids are essential for fetal brain, nerve, and eye development. They are a key part of pregnancy nutrition, especially since most Americans are severely deficient in omega-3s.

Scientific studies suggest when a pregnant mother ingests adequate amounts of choline, it can improve the mental health of her baby as they grow into adulthood.

After researching a few prenatals

After researching a few prenatal vitamins I found Forté's prenatal supplement and was excited to give them a try. It may seem like you are taking a lot of pills but that is only because you are getting a lot of important nutrients. These are very high-quality vitamins and are not something that you can get just anywhere. The ingredients are just what you and your baby need.

Excellent product and company!

Before ordering the prenatal supplements, I contacted Forte's customer service with questions. My questions were answered quickly and accurately. I received the product just a few days after ordering, and the product and packaging were as expected. The quality of the supplements is great! And I love the convenient daily-pack packaging because it helps me to remember to take all of my supplements every day. I will be continuing to purchase the prenatal supplements, and I look forward to trying other Forte products in the future.

Prenatal Vitamin

I love the Forté Element products. I feel more energized overall and not so dragged out.

Good Product

My experience has been good so far taking the prenatal vitamins. The only down part is, I have to take them at night. If I take them in the morning I can taste the fish oil all day. They are overpriced but I like how they make me feel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these prenatals vegan friendly?

No they are not. Because we have high quality omega-3s as a part of the daily dose, the prenatals do have fish in the ingredients.

Why are there so many pills?

Our prenatals are very nutrient heavy to provide you with everything you need for your pregnancy. As such, the amount of nutrition correlates to a larger number of pills. We are constantly working on easier options and will soon be condensing all ingredients into four tablets instead of five.

Why do we us methylfolate instead of folic acid?

We choose to use methylfolate for a few reasons. First, methylfolate is better absorbed by your body. Second, folic acid is the synthetic form of folate. Up to 40% of the world’s population has a folate mutation that cannot break down folic acid—and of that 40%, most do not they have this mutation. However, methylfolate is not affected by this mutation. Since methylfolate is so essential during pregnancy, we chose to use folate so that you can be sure you and your baby can absorb what you need.

Can I purchase product in bulk for my whole pregnancy?

Of course. You can also get set up on our autoship program where we send you a box every month until you cancel. You will also receive an extra 15% off your order with this method. And no cancellation fees 🙂

What kind of fish is used in the omega-3?

We use anchovy in our omega-3 softgel.

Do I need a prenatal if I eat healthy?

YES. Even if you are a healthy eater, everyone has nutrient gaps in their diet. These gaps typically get bigger while you are pregnant due to your increased need for nutrition, food aversions, and lack of appetite. Taking a prenatal will ensure you are getting the exact nutrients you need while pregnant.

What if prenatals make me nauseous?

Prenatal supplements can cause some nausea due to the number of nutrients and the amount of iron. But you still need to take them. To help prevent nausea, take half of your pills in the morning and half at night. Taking your prenatal with food will also help.
